Plushy came to us in the summer of 2002. She was the oldest kitten from a large colony of well-cared for cats in Newfield. Buttons and Pickles are also from her colony. Plushy was named for her thick, short, soft fur. While she sometimes darts out of arm's reach and plays coy, a visitor calls her "Me First" because she demands to be petted before all the others. If you are petting another cat on a shelf...up she comes! Plushy is very active and playful, but a bit plump, so low-cal food would be ideal for her.
As soon as one friendly cat gets adopted, another cat comes forward as the new "lobbiest." Plushy is the current Lobbyist in the facility right now.
