History: Trapped by Ryans Wildlife Control by request of a restaurant customer who wished to help a
kitten. The kitten and two adults were trapped. The customer took the kitten to the veterinarian
and the cats to a shelter, where they were initially refused admittance because arrangements had not
been made in advance. The shelter reconsidered and offered to sterilize the cats. Budgie and Burma (below) came to our facility until they could be spayed. An upper respiratory infection and a snowstorm delayed their return to the colony.

Pichou
Pichou was already eartipped and on-site when we started work here. Pichou can be told from Budgie because Budgie has a yellow stripe down her nose. Pichou has no stripe, and has tiny yellow dots over each eye. Pichou is also braver than Budgie.
Unfortunately, because Pichou was eartipped, we assume we had recaught Budgie and released her. The kind of eartip she is sporting indicates she was sterilized at a clinic this summer, so she has been rabies vaccinated recently. However, we will vaccinate her again, so we can have a certificate on file, the next time she steps in a trap.
