Decker is from the Famous Fast Food Ferals colony on Elmira Road in Ithaca. For years feral cats have bred unchecked in the business district, eating from dumpsters and scrounging handouts. This has all come to a good end.

On the north side of the highway, all of the adult cats have been neutered, and are fed daily to keep them away from dumpsters. Shelters full of straw keep them warm. All the kittens have been removed for adoption. Decker was born near a lumber yard, therefore the "power tool" name.

Decker is a real timid girl. We may need to work with her a bit more before she's ready for a home.
