"Bro" came to us along with his sister Blackberry when the Humane Society of Schuyler County needed a foster home quickly because their old foster home could not keep them any longer. Bro is a very sweet, long, slim orange cat, about 5.5 months old (1/8/05), who climbed up into my lap as I was kneeling trying to get photos of the other cats. Bro and Blackberry left would very much like to be adopted together, as Blackberry is shy and loves her friendly brother. Blackberry is the sweetest little cat in our place, but she is very gentle and shy. She will avoid loud strangers, loves to play, snuggles with her "Bro", and will sit in your arms and purr. However, she plays keepaway if she is afraid, and takes coaxing to pick up if she is frightened. At her foster home, she was extremely affectionate with her female fosterer, but still skated away from the man of the house. We would like to adopt Bro and Blackberry together, because Blackberry with flourish best with her buddy beside her. She is a very beautiful, slim black cat, with a face that is hard to resist. Both are up to date with routine shots, altered and already house trained.
